I'm Scott McNay, the founder of this wiki.

After getting a degree in programming, I used my knowledge wisely by working in the fencing business: digging holes, mixing concrete, stretching chainlink and nailing boards. There was also lots of remodeling work involved.

Later, I worked for an income tax preparation company, doing filing, preparation, and later helping to rebuild the computers for the next season. Around this time, I became a BBS sysop. Later, the income tax place became a computer store for which I was a tech, and I was later foolish enough to agree to become owner of the place. Also at that time, I did on-site service for Wang Federal, working on Zenith, Packard Bell, GTSI, and various other computer brands. I'm currently working in a computer shop in a corporate environment, which is much nicer. I have been in the computer business for 20 years now.
